Nothing new. Just my old favorites thrown together. (Haha, so… I haven’t *really* gotten dressed in a day or two, and when mom saw me she asked “where are you going???” You know it’s time to quit being lazy when that happens.)

1. I LOVE your voice, I seriously love it. I can’t stop hearing to this song, it’s simply..WOW! It travels me. Perfection! You are so creative and talented and inspiring and everything! 😀

Onto my favorite part: THE lists! 😀 It’s so good to get to know you a little more better 😉 In the first list, I agree with you in all points, apart from 4 and 8. 😛 And AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have NO idea how much I HAAAAAAAAAAATEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAATEEEE spiders. aZGFBKAUSYDCEFIKVszytIYDf!!! sdkjfshg! Seriously! It’s not just like I don’t like them and I can kill them. It’s psychological, I’m sure about that. I can’t kill them, I can’t stare at them and I HAVE to get as far away from them as possible. Needless to say that OF COURSE I didn’t watch the video with the spider you mentioned.
Okay I can’t believe it! I made a pause from writing the comment, because my mom called me and told me to bring her sth from the balcony and OMG I saw a spider. Next to me! AAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! 🙁 EEEEEEWWWWWWWW!!!!
Ok so I’ll change subject, because simply spiders are the worst..things. And grasshopers.. 🙁
Anyway, I also feel you about this weird feeling you get when you walk in a corridor in the night. Brrr.. I think I’m watching too many horror films..

Haha, see, I don't watch horror films! I've just always had this fear that I was being followed/monsters would get me (when I was younger.). I just… y'know… imagination. 😀

I totally agree with the points 1 to 3 from your first list. I feel the same… mostly for the same reasons.
And you’re so multi-talented! It made me think of Mary O’Hara, who perhaps became famous mainly through her books, but also wrote movie scripts as well as piano pieces. She writes a lot about her music, both about playing and composing it, in “Wyoming Summer”.
It’s amazing that you’re writing a musical. 😀 I like what you’ve recorded so far.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. Not that people ever like angry people… but some people DO like to argue. And I’m not one of those. I’m sort of the complete opposite– I’ll stand for my point, but I won’t really argue about it. If that makes sense.
I had never heard of Mary O’Hara until you mentioned her just now! Now I have to look her up and read her books. (She’s Irish! Yay! I like Irish people.)

It just depends on what I’ve been watching… but mostly British actors (and actresses.) James Purefoy, Tara Fitzgerald, ummm… I don’t even know. Hehe. And yes, I do the interview thing, too. In the car, in the shower, in my room… if I’m bored… yeah. 😀

Wooooow. I share every single one of your (ir)rational fears. Every. One. Except I’d take the shock fear farther. I cry when I get static shock from the dryer, or off a grocery cart, and when I was little I didn’t slide down the slide on the playground very much because it would make everything shock me afterward. 🙁

I did that, too. I HATED plastic slides! I still hate plastic slides. And there was this one time when I was visiting a friend in New Mexico, and she lived in THE most static-shock-tastic house ever. I was afraid to touch anything metal in that house because it would zap me. UGH.

Noooooo!!! Ugh! There was one playground in particular with a super staticy tube slide that I went down only once in my life and it had the four-letter word “s—” written right over the entrance and I always thought that that word meant there was a lot of static. 😛 Until my cousin (who was public schooled) told me otherwise.

1. “This is why (hopefully) my characters usually don’t fight over stupid things. Unless it’s comical.” Are you saying you don’t create characters who have anger issues because it would bother you too much to include too many fights in your stories? Or you don’t want to bother the readers? I don’t know . . . I don’t mind fights in books. In real life, I hate shouting, but in books it’s different. I might roll my eyes and voice aloud my frustration at the characters, but that kind of frustration is a sign of good writing.
I don’t think I understand what you’re trying to say by this.
2. Oh, my goodness, yes! It’s two factors for me: I love natural light, and I’m thrifty. God gave us the sun for a reason! Why should I waste money and energy when I’ve got the gorgeous sunlight coming in from the window? I also often walk through my house turning off lights in unused rooms. Because they’re a waste and they don’t look nice.
. . . We’ve been through this, haven’t we?
7. I also hate when people mistreat books. They are works of art! That’s why I can’t stand paperbacks——if you read them, you ruin them.
8. I have very sensitive skin, too! I always get dry, bloody hands in the winter, which are really quite a nuisance. This year, however, I decided to give petroleum jelly a try instead of the lotion that I usually use, and it works wonders! I also feel much better about using petroleum jelly than I ever did about using lotion, because lotion is just a bunch of chemicals (unless you want to buy all-natural . . . but that is more expensive). You must try it. At night, with gloves. It is amazing.

4. I like salsa too! But not plain. I have mild salsa practically every day. On my tuna sandwich. On my noodles. On my brown rice. On my baked eggs. Yummy! Warning: Do not try a peanut butter and salsa sandwich. I try a lot of strange combinations and am fine with them, but that was one that did not taste very good.
Just in case you’re wondering, my lack of comments on your opera/musical does not mean that I don’t like it. It means I have not yet watched it. I will hopefully do so later, when I have access to a computer with more reliable Internet. Because I can’t watch videos on mine. (Normally I would not have commented until I watched it, but there was a lot of other stuff in this post and I wanted to get my thoughts down before I forgot them.)

No, I’m saying that my characters don’t fight for no reason.I can’t quite figure out how to explain what I meant… um… it’s just… I guess comparing to some books I have read– sometimes authors have their characters fighting, but it just doesn’t make sense for the character or the plot or even… the argument just doesn’t make sense. I know that a lot of humans are stupid and do that, but since I don’t (to my knowledge) argue over stupid things, it’s hard for me to have my characters argue if I can’t see the sense of the argument from the character’s perspective, and it annoys me when people in real life do that, or authors write arguments into the story that doesn’t make sense.

1. Well, if it doesn’t make sense with the plot or characters, I can understand why it shouldn’t be included. So you’re saying that in real life, you can’t stand pointless arguments, and in books, you can’t stand arguments that don’t fit the plot or character . . . because although it’s annoying when anything doesn’t fit the plot or characters, arguments are particularly annoying. Am I going in the right direction here?

In real life, arguments– no matter what kind– make me uncomfortable and emotional to the degree that I have to walk away. I am very adversely affected when people are angry at each other– oddly enough, it doesn’t affect me as much when it’s directed at me, but when it’s between people I love I get tense and anxious and emotional, and this has to do with various personal reasons– because… well… those personal reasons. It’s almost… painful for me to be around people who argue all the time.
As well, I am a person who almost always sees both sides of the argument and I can almost always think of ways that the argument could have been avoided by a different use of words or tone of voice. I am naturally a mediator, and I’m not prone to get angry if someone’s argumentative. Since I know that it’s possible to disagree with someone without arguing, and I generally have the ability to say controversial things without sparking anger, I am bothered by the fact that people argue over things that could have been calmly and respectfully discussed. Not that I think “Ugh, why can’t they just discuss this calmly?”; it’s more of a recoil reaction and a deep wish that I could say something or translate for them to get away from the argument. Does that make sense?
And in books, it’s really just… well… yes. There are a lot of things about poorly written books that bother me, not just stupid arguments. 😉
I’ve never had baked eggs, by the way. I’ll have to try those now. 😀

That makes total sense! I definitely can relate. I can’t stand tension.
Baked eggs are very easy. My mother makes them all the time. Just beat a bunch of eggs, pour into a pan, and stick it in the oven (or toaster oven . . . we use a toaster oven). Chopped veggies and spices can be added if you have time, but it tastes fine plain.
