Most of you know me too well. 😉

So forgive me that I didn’t do a full-body outfit picture today. I have  bronchitis– my mother insisted on taking me to urgent care this morning– and I look about as sick as I feel.

Apparently, if we’d let this cough go another week, it would have turned into pneumonia. That would have been exciting.

And despite the fact I am sick, I’m going to the drive-in movies tonight with my family. It’ll be fun. The weather is beautiful, and we have a mattress in the back of our truck to lay on. (With lots of blankets and pillows.) Plus, I have to take my cough-suppressant every six hours, so I’d have to be up at midnight anyway.

My cough-suppressant makes me sneeze. It’s quite funny.

I hope you are all having a lovely Sunday!

      Thank you. 🙂
I don’t think I’ve ever had bronchitis. But I don’t get sick very often. I’m sorry you’re prone to bronchitis– it’s not fun!

I think so, too. 😀 I actually had thought it was a skirt when I picked it up at the thrift store, and then I went to try it on and went “oh. Shorts.” 😀

      Thanks! I’m trying.

I am trying! The doctor says I should be well by Wednesday if I’m good about taking cough suppressants (so that I’m not coughing my throat raw and exacerbating the situation) and rest a lot. 🙂
Haha, I did have fun at the movies…only I fell asleep through both of them.

Very nice skirt! 🙂 I also agree with everyone else on that the pattern looks better that way than on shorts, anyway.

Hope you get rid of your cough soon, and have fun at the movies! (Never been to a drive-in myself.)

Thanks! I loved the pattern when I saw the shorts at Goodwill, and I had thought they WERE a skirt until I got into the dressing room. Thankfully, the transformation worked the way I thought it would. 😀

      I hope so, too.
And I fell asleep through both movies. Ha! Drive-ins are SO fun!

It’s actually really easy to turn shorts like these into a skirt– if I ever do this again, I’ll try to do a step-by-step tutorial. 🙂

Rated Four Stars – Sassy Shorts Summer Skirt! Imagination is a wonderful trait to be blessed with. Bronchitis is never any fun and yes, can turn to pneumonia quite fast. I hope you are feeling better sooner than later. How’s the Kermit voice? The little gift bronchitis loves to bring to the party. Glad you found the humor in it as laughter is the best medicine! Happy 4th of July and hope your feeling much better.

AAAA yeeeaaahh!!! It looks so much better now! It actually looks awesome! Even I, that I’m not that much a skirt girl, I would definitely wear it! It’s really elegant, and the print is fantastic 😀 You’re amazing, it came out greatly 🙂

Bronchitis? I’m so sorry, get well soon! When I was little I had always bronchitis! Seriously. I’m a miracle of nature. Winter, spring, summer, always I would caugh and caugh. Thank God it stopped a few years later! I’m SO glad that it didn’t became a pneumonia though. My dad spent 2 weeks in hospital the last month because of pneumonia! 2 weeks! So, it’s no fun! Anyway, I hope you’re feeling better today! 🙂

I like it much better as a skirt. I would, though, since I wear skirts all the time. 😀

I’m glad you don’t get bronchitis so much any more! It’s terrible! this is the first time I’ve had it, and I hope I never get it again. Blegh. Coughing is not fun.
I’m feeling… woozy but better ish today. It’s weird. I feel sick, for sure, but I’m not coughing as much.

I love drive-in movies! We used to go in my parent’s station wagon with the back seat flat. That was a long time ago! I remember watching a Care Bears movie there. Hope you get well soon!
