Mad Men Inspired

I’ve been watching Mad Men lately. Can you tell? I have to warn you, this post might be picture heavy because I LOVE this dress. I just bought it. It needed to be excessively photographed.

I’m going out to dinner with a friend later today, and I am definitely going to wear this. Although perhaps without the fur wrap, because it’s a bit hot out for that.

But seriously. Isn’t it gorgeous? The dress AND the fur. Which, yes, is real. I think it’s badger.

I could walk around like this all day. Well, until my feet started to hurt because these heels are stinkin’ tall.

I really don’t have much to say today. I’m going to play volleyball before I go out to dinner (not in this, obviously) and that starts like… now. So I’m a little anxious to go play. I love volleyball.

I’ve recorded a tutorial for this makeup, so if you’re interested to see how it’s done (it’s quite easy), let me know and I’ll post it on Tuesday.

      Aw, thank you! I really don’t want to take this dress off, hehe. And the fur! I can’t wait for it to be just a little bit cooler out so I can wear it when I go out to dinner with someone.

      I did, although yesterday I badly bruised my wrist playing volleyball, and I probably shouldn’t have been playing on it today… but oh well. It was worth the pain.

    Ohh, I LOVE that dress. Make up looks amazing as well, and… I think you have nicely shaped eyebrows. Don’t ask me where it came from, but I was looking at the make up, and it just popped into my head. Its only natural to tell you, although there seems to be an echo from somewhere saying ‘Why would you say something like that? You’re crazy!’ so… uh.. excuse the random weirdness of it xD 😛
    Love volleyball! I get out and play every Sunday with friends for the most part during the summer, and its the only sport that I’m actually GOOD at. Everything else… yeah. Nothing going for me there xD Oh… there is horse back riding. Because I’ve been in love with horses since 4 or so, and having just had a riding lesson Monday, I’m incredibly sore xD

    What an AMAZINGLY ADORABLE DRESS!!!! Pardon the caps, but I needed to shout it out loud! 🙂 Of course, the adorable model wearing the dress is equally radiant.

    I love Mad Men. Having been in the advertising business, I like looking back at its history, albeit fictionalized. I love the general things that have been proven bad (children playing inside a dry cleaning bag, smoking and drinking while pregnant, open mental and physical harassment in the workplace).

    The makeup is glorious, as usual, and there really is something about your eyebrows. They are SO perfect and cute. Mine are way too thin. 🙂

    Hi!!! *_* You look so stunning in this outfit!!! REALLY!!!! When I saw the pics, first thing I thought was “OMGOOOOSHH!!!!!! Her legs are gorgeous, her face is stunning and she’s aweeesome!” Yes, that sounds a bit creepy, but seriously that’s what I thought. And I believe that it’s kind of better without the fur, no offense. I’m just not really fond of seeing others wearing furs when I’m melting from the heat hahah! That’s an awkward excuse, I KNOW! Whatever. And your heels are..like..kiiilling me! SO gorgeous! SO gorgeous! F COURSE I want a make up tutorial for this look. No, no, I NEED IT!!!! So pleeeaase, mon amour, post the tutorial! 🙂
    And…volleyball? Here is something I didn’t know about you! I’m excited! I’m SO not a sports person, but I do like playing volleyball. Of course, I’m not a good player, but it’s fun! 🙂
    Ok, I’ll tell it once more, because I just can’t help it. You’re sooo pretty! Really! And it seems like you’re getting prettier and prettier! What are you guys over there drink that makes you so beautiful?? 😛

    Cute new dress! I love those heels with it so much. And the fur is pretty much awesome. I inherited a really old mink fur and the boyfriend had a freak out that I was going to wear it everywhere. I’m like… no. It’s 90 degrees out. Besides, it’s a fancy one for fancy times.
