Yesterday…
I think it’s about time that I take a break from blogging on the weekends, and cut it down to three posts a week. With work being more intense now that I’ve been promoted, I really need my weekends to relax and to get stuff done around my house (my room? A disaster.). Today is the first day I’ve not had to go to work this week, and I find that I’m pretty much exhausted.
As well, the status of being an everyday blogger is taking its toll on my enjoyment of blogging. It’s become more of a “I need to blog for you” instead of “I want to blog because it’s fun.” Not that I don’t like blogging for you– you have all been with me as I have found my style, as I’ve grown and matured and become more confident, and I love writing posts that make you happy. But this blog was started because I wanted to, and if it becomes something I feel I have to do, chances are… I’ll quit.
I know this won’t go over well with some of you (*coughstalkerscough*), and believe me… I love blogging so I’ll miss the every-day-ness of it, too. But it will be good for all of us. I’ll get cleaning done, I’ll have more sanity in my life, and you’ll get school or work or chores or whatever else it is you do when you’re not stalking me reading my blog, and we’ll all be better for it.
Just think of it like this: I’ll have more quality posts to show you, instead of quick outfit snaps and nothing to say, and I’ll have more time to actually reply to your comments. It’ll be good.
Speaking of comments… it’s been so long since I’ve actually replied to some of them, I’m not going to respond to anything before today unless I see a comment that has a question for me in it. Because I have 197 emails/notifications that I haven’t replied to in months, and it’s just too much.
With that said, I’ll see you all tomorrow with a (hopefully) more refreshed (and saner) me.
