I am back! This weekend was a very busy one for Mr. Owl and I. On Saturday, the day these pictures were taken, we shot some engagement pictures of the moment he proposed to her, which was… probably the weirdest thing I’ve ever done, since we had to sort of pretend we were just hanging out and then suddenly take pictures from far away… but it was also a very sweet moment.
I felt a bit like an intruder watching them and taking pictures of the proposal, but they were happy (she said yes), and it was kind of fun.
The downside was that it was out on a little spit of land, and it was very, very windy. As you can see.
On Sunday, we rose early and went up to camp with my family at a place called Kalaloch, Â which is probably the best place I have ever camped. Ever. And that’s saying a lot, because my family goes camping several times a year.
But at Kalaloch, there were so many things to do. We explored a beach full of driftwood (enormous logs, oh my goodness!) and found a sort of cave where a tree had taken root over the opening and spread over the whole place (I can’t explain it, really, it was just amazing), and we crossed rivers on logs (my brother fell in), and on Saturday we went to Ruby Beach where I almost died (or at least, it felt like a near-death experience).
I can’t wait to show you pictures!
And then this morning, there was a pine-needle in the half-and-half.
I miss camping already. But it’s back to normal life and work.
And also, back to blogging, which I’ve missed! Although for this set, there aren’t that many pictures because it was so windy. Oh, well.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and have a beautiful Tuesday!

This is such a great post! Sadly, I’ve never gone camping, but it sounds like so much fun! I’d really like to do this with my friends, it would be awesome! Maybe this summer 😀 I can’t wait to see more pictures!!! And these ones are adorable as well, but it’s windy as hell! Your hair looks like it’s going to fly haha! Love the dress and the shoes though! You’re looking gorgeous! <3 Kissees! :*

The lighting in these pictures is so pretty! I really like your little sun dress too.Â
That photo shoot sounds really fun too. I’d love to have pictures of the moment I’m proposed to – should that happen ever haha. It’s a great idea!
