Narcissism. Aka, outfits according to Facebook and my phone.
I haven’t been able to get outfit pictures lately, but here are a few via Facebook. If you don’t already follow me on Facebook and you’re aching for more content… hop over and like me! I usually update with terrible quality phone or webcam pictures, but hey! It’s better than nothing.
And if you are missing the “Friday Links” feature, you’ll also find that I share links throughout the week on Facebook, such as the actually-from-1940 makeup tutorial, or the incredibly tempting new food blog I found via Picco, and, of course, lots of owl-themed links. And you’ll also find albums I’m trying to update, like my closet archive.
For those of you that don’t have Facebook, and because my actual outfit posts have dwindled down to one a week, I may start implementing a weekly update-via-Facebook post such as this one so you can see what I’ve been up to/wearing all week.
And, just so you know, this is what happens when I try to wink and kiss at the camera like those old-school pin-up girls:
Yeah. I haven’t quite gotten it down yet. But it seems I can’t take a picture of myself with red lips without making a face.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Mr. Owl is feeling sick today, so he and I are going to cuddle up on the couch, enjoy the rainy weather, and play Donkey Kong.
Happy Friday!

I always want to make faces when I have a full face of make up going on. I don’t know, I still feel a bit silly taking pictures of myself, even though it’s gotten a lot better in the last year. But then again, life would be pretty freaking boring if we would all be perfectly made up without the urge to make crazy faces (or without the urge to make crazy faces period!). YAY for playing videogames on rainy days! On some days I kind of hope that the next day will be a rainy one so I won’t feel the need to go outside and do shit. Just to sit down, get a blanky, a cuppa tea and some vintage gaming! Ahh, heaven <3 You look gorgeous and I especially love that second outfit (the cropped jacket with the flower dress and waistbelt).
