How to: wear black and orange and not look like Halloween

Well, at least I don’t think I look like Halloween. But I went to Target the other day, and they had their tights fully stocked so I had to grab orange, yellow, and red tights. I love them all!

I’m back! As you can see. I dropped my friend off at the airport about two hours ago, and I should be back to blogging regularly now. That eight days that she was here went by really fast for me.

 I’m feeling really off today, picture-taking wise. I took 68 pictures, and really only like a fraction of them. But today has been kind of… I don’t even know… random? But not random. There are just lots of things going on right now. So I’m not surprised that my pictures felt distracted.

 I don’t really know what to say today. I’m sort of out of words. I had a lot of fun with my friend, although it feels like she was barely here. I didn’t take very many pictures (which is odd for the girl who can take up to 400 pictures of her nieces and nephews in one sitting…) of what we did, so I don’t have any photo blogs to share with you.

I forgot to list my earrings in my pricing picture, but I don’t remember how much they were. Somewhere around $6, I think, from Target.

 And also: this skirt is actually a dress. It was given to me by a friend of mine, and since her style preferences are a bit more lax than mine, it’s a dress I pretty much only wear as a skirt seeing as how the top is very… bikini-like.

P.S. Did you notice I changed my header? I’m not fully sold on it yet. What do you think?

And also, I have some writing I haven’t typed down yet. But while my friend was here I didin’t have many chances to write. So the writing clips in my posts will come back with the next one!

  2. I’ve been staring at your new header for a while and I just realized: YOU USED THE STARRY/GALAXY PICTURE FOR THAT – THE ONE YOU USED IN AN EARLIER POST.

    I’m not completely sold on this one either. I think I liked the last one better, but the words were out of line with each other.

  4. Hmm..I feel the new header would work well with out that effect it has on? The thing that’s making it look sort of shiny..yea that one. I love the skirt and I think anyone that can where orangey red tights and look nice deserves a clap..so..*claps* 😉

  6. Yeah I did notice the new header and I really really like it! I actually thing it’s better than the last one, but I can see that not everyone has the same opinion… Hmmm…I still like it a lot though.. I don’t know..it’s up to you 🙂
    Black and orange look nice together! And no, you don’t look like Halloween, but then again what do I know? We don’t celebrate Halloween here haha! And what’s wrong with Halloween, after all? 😛 Nevertheless, I looove the combo and the skirt-dress! You should wear it as a dress too, maybe over a top or something 😛
    I’m glad you had a nice time with your friend, but no pics? Tsk..tsk 😛 😛 Just kidding, it always feels nice to just relax and live the moment instead of taking pics!
