Week one of Dressember 2013

So far, I have loved doing Dressember, and I hope some of you have taken an interest in it as well! Even if all I do is wear dresses every day with nothing raised, it’s helping to bring awareness to a great cause, and that is worth it!

If you don’t know what Dressember is: this year, women everywhere can wear a dress every day in December to raise awareness and money for the International Justice Mission, whose goal is to rescue victims of slavery, sex trafficking, and other forms of oppression. And even if you missed starting on the first, you can still join up and raise awareness or funds for the cause! I think it’s a fantastic way, as a fashion blogger, to utilize my forms of social media to help those in need!

Which Dressember outfit so far has been your favorite? I can’t decide between day one and day five. I love that floral dress SO much, and everything about the styling, but I also love the coziness of the scarf and comfortable dress and yellow cardigan of day five. On Facebook, day five has been the favorite. And get ready to see those boots a TON since it’s getting so cold out!

As a bonus, here’s a fun outtake of the week:

This is what happens when I tell myself “chin down, eyes wide, don’t squint!” and then last-minute feel absolutely ridiculous and overdo it. It’s basically my crazyface. I promise, I won’t really kill you. I just look like I might.

Don’t forget, there’s still time to enter the Pink Blush Maternity giveaway, for those of you that are pregnant, nursing, or have friends who could benefit from a $25 gift certificate for their clothing! You’ve got until midnight tonight to enter!

Happy Tuesday!
