Vintage novelty print blouse, flower crown, and a thrift haul!
There are so many things going on in this post I don’t even know where to start.
First of all, us Shaped By Style girls are hosting a giveaway (Etsy gift card!), so if you love Etsy and also free money, you need to enter that giveaway! With all of our money pooled, we were able to offer quite a good gift card, and I’m so excited for whomever wins! Second, the weather was messing with my photography so much during this photoshoot and it drives me nuts. I wish you could see the pattern on this shirt better in the full-body shots. But then, white print is usually much harder to make out! I have quite a few posts between this one and my last one that are waiting in my backlog, but as I’m sharing a thrift haul, I wanted to style something that I thrifted. And I ended up styling an outfit that is entirely thrifted. Which I did not mean to do.
And third, I always feel a bit weird doing outfits without my glasses, because I feel less like myself, but… sometimes, flowers in my hair just don’t work with glasses. I took two sets of images and ended up liking these ones better.
Oh well! I have to post quick today because filming that thrift haul took up all of my time and now it’s time to cook dinner!
Heels, flowers, vintage top, vintage skirt, and brooch, thrifted
I hope you all enjoy the haul, despite its length and the fact that I have another half to edit down to a watchable length!

Hi Emily! I’m sorry I am just now getting to your comment! Thank you! I am definitely going to come and have a peek at your blog; congratulations on getting it started!

Wow that print totally surprised me! It’s super cute. I hate those days when the lighting gets crazy. White should be the most difficult to make out lol
The first dress in the video is so adorable. I’m jealous you got so many awesome finds! I really LOVE that bright skirt.. you should definitely keep it and wait it out. It’s too cute!

Isn’t it fun? I knew I was going to buy it as soon as I saw it. I only wish it was easier to see the print in bright lighting, agh!
I think I will keep the skirt, it’s SO pretty and I’m sure I will be able to make use of it after I have the baby! It pretty much fits everything except my belly, so I know it’ll fit later.

I love this simple look! Your top and it’s print is really pretty. That’s one thing I really lack in my wardrobe, some vintage button up tops. I wish I had more luck thrifting. I have a hard time finding things in my size. Maybe someday we can meet up and go thrifting together! Oh and your flowers are lovely, you always style your hair so nice. ♥
xoxo,
Heather

Thank you Heather! I lack vintage button ups, too, so I’ve been specifically scouring the thrift racks for good tops. Anything with an interesting collar or print goes into my cart to try on these days, since I tend to usually pick out dresses and skirts first. Shirts are important too!
I would LOVE it if we got to meet up and thrift together someday! I hope that happens!
