Evie Rose: Four Months Old
  Â
This little babe is four months old today and, as you can see, she is very fond of her thumb these days. She’s a thriving, giggly, social, raspberry-blowing, slobbery, loving little person who has just discovered her own little voice and she loves to sass whomever cares to listen.
At her checkup, the Doctor all but called her fat, in a good way, and she returned his prognosis by crying in his face and then bossily yelling at me. You wouldn’t expect a four-month-old could be bossy (unless you have a girl, and then, you know) but trust me, she did.
She has a slightly flat head due to her preference of her left thumb, and we are working on rounding that out so that she won’t have a lumpy head as an adult. Otherwise, she’s a very healthy, with nary a problem. Except that she refuses bottles, which is only a problem if I want to go somewhere for longer than two hours without her. 😉
Happy 4 months, precious smush! You’re a dream baby, and I love you.

Hi Kristina, as I and many have said before, she is gorgeous! And no baby is ever fat (except those sad little toddlers they sometimes show on Maury that weigh soooo much), just cuddly. Oh, yes, the bossy girl baby. We have family photos taken for Christmas, and my goodness, there is one photo where we are all looking at the camera, and the expression on her face screams “If I cry, these two crazy people will do anything to make me stop!”. I would love to have a son maybe someday, but if I never do, she is enough. Baby girls are such a joy. More blessings to your family!

Isn’t is amazing how they can be so smushy from just our boobs?!

She is beautiful and makes me smile, being the boy mom I am. But I was a bossy baby girl once and hmmm, can still be a bossy baby girl.
