Miss Candyfloss Danielle-Rose Dress & Matching Masks to Outfits

Miss Candyfloss Danielle-Rose dress There has never been a Miss Candyfloss Dress I didn’t love.

A few weeks ago, I worked up the courage to finally email Miss Candyfloss to ask if they’d consider collaborating with me. They have been one of my favorite brands for years now. So when they responded yes, I was over the moon! If you aren’t aware, Miss Candyfloss is a Swedish brand focused on 1940s and 1950s fashion with a modern twist. They strive to create classic, durable garments that can be passed from mother to daughter and they have a focus on sustainability. Every dress I’ve owned from them has been perfect.

Miss Candyfloss dresses are definitely lifetime garments.

I bought my first one for my 30th birthday and it remains one of my favorite dresses. I then acquired a second one via Poshmark, which is a classic and simple 1940s cut. After a while I snagged one of their jumpsuits… and finally a beautiful fall-colored plaid. I can see every piece lasting a long time. With the minimal stretch, the supportive fabric, and the classic cuts, they’re dresses worth saving up for.

I was delighted to pair this darling mask with the dress and have it match so perfectly! That is one fashion trend I don’t think anyone really predicted – mask fashion. I have never bothered to match my masks to my outfits before, but then Nola made me two skirts with matching reversible masks. And now, I’m addicted.

As with many things, I first heard of B.A.I.T. through Sara, whose shoe collection is to die for. I’ve been slowly gathering pairs off Poshmark and BST sites, but made the jump to buy myself brand-new pairs this month. I have no regrets! B.A.I.T. shoes are nearly always comfortable, durable, and perfectly retro. Their sandals tend to be their most comfortable shoe, and their boots are fairly walkable. These pumps, while not too uncomfortable, likely wouldn’t last for tons of walking.

And honestly where are any of us going in heels these days anyway? I think I’ll get more wear out of them once we’re able to venture out more and more, but for now they’re cute photoshoot heels at least!

I always tell myself I have enough strawberry items, but is that ever true? As soon as I saw the dress, I knew I had to accessorize with lots of red and strawberries. This darling little box purse has hand-painted strawberries on it and is lined in red velvet. Inside, there’s a mirror for those times when you have to touch up your lipstick. It’s the perfect size, too! I was able to fit my phone, glasses, an extra camera lens, keys, my mask, and my remote shutter release inside with lots of room for more.

The Danielle-Rose dress is available in sizes XS to 5XL and is priced at approximately $136usd. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to find the perfect year-round dress. It does have pockets, and though they’re slightly oddly placed (the red flaps are pockets!), they are big enough to carry an iphone. The buttons are functional buttons. I was especially pleased to note there is no gaping issue, which is always a concern with me.

I’m so happy to have this dress in my wardrobe. And, of course, a huge thank you to Miss Candyfloss for making my dreams come true and collaborating on a post!
